Jericho
Supported Polly Scattergood at Oxford's Jericho Tavern last night, solo set. It's the second time I've played there, great venue with good sound etc. This time they pulled a red curtain across half the room to bring everyone forward and create a bit of an atmosphere. It was a pretty good turnout - not sure if I was the kind of thing Polly's fans were in the mood for, armed only with my guitar and acoustic songs, whereas she took to the stage with no less than four synths and a backup multi-instrumentalist. Enjoyed the show though. The coffee smelled a little strange, but tasted okay.
